Wireless Door Counters with Remote Data

Our battery powered wireless technology offers a reliable, user-friendly and affordable people counter solution. The door counter has 2 parts, a transmitter and receiver, which are positioned across the entry (max 6m) and generate a beam that is broken by people passing through.

The count data is transmitted every 10 seconds to our Sensor Network Gateway (SNG10E) unit that can be located anywhere within a range of up to 30m. Since the Sensor Network Gateway (SNG10E) unit requires an internet connection and a power point it is normally located under a service counter or in a back room. The Sensor Network Gateway (SNG10E) unit stores the count data and forwards it as data packets at regular intervals to our 'SensorServerâ„¢' reporting system.

The Sensor Network Gateway (SNG10E) is able to collect the counting data from up to 10 door counters. The Sensor Network Gateway (SNG10E) can be paired to operate with 3G Modem/Routers in remote areas and also able to be powered via POE (Power over Ethernet) devices.

Our 'SensorServerâ„¢' software allows users to analyze the data by hour, day, week, month, and year in table or graph form.  This valuable information reveals peak traffic periods to determine optimal operating hours and staffing requirements, and helps calculate customer/sales conversion ratios.
